Join us for Mindfulness 101 on Thursday, June 13 at 1:30 pm here at the Thompson Free Library.

Alicia Randolph-Lucchesi, an experienced teacher with an extensive background in many holistic approaches, shares the basic principles & practices of mindfulness. She’ll guide us through a simple meditation and discuss various types of meditation so you can discover which one is right for you—whether you have 2 minutes or 20!

We often hear about the positive health benefits of mindfulness, but how can we make it a part of our daily lives? Alicia will show us how. As she puts it, “We have to tune in to our bodies to understand them better…we hear what’s best for us when we know how to listen…we are mind, body, and spirit. Living mindfully honors this and gives us balance.”

Join us on Thursday, May 9 at 1:30 pm for our next TFL 101 event:

You’ll be able to chronicle your memories, stories, & feelings–or a special adventure! Please bring your old maps, wallpaper, stationery, ticket stubs, photos–even junk mail–and your creativity! It’s sure to be a fun time!
